One of the first blogs I followed years ago was Math & Noise (the last update was September 2010 unfortunately). This site introduced me to a plethora of great obscure bands; Blame Game, Mechakucha, Zs, Ahleuchatistas and Ativin to name a few.
The band that I was most excited to find was Haberdasher. Other than the post on Math & Noise there really isn't much information out there... 1/4 of this project went on to form 1/3 of Oxes. The first song is a little different than anything else I've heard from Haberdasher (this including their only full length). Much more aggressive, and has some Shellac like vocals. The second side features a track "reminiscent of the early 90's Louisville scene" that I'm familiar with.
This is a really great introduction to this band, think Slint meets Drive Like Jehu. If anyone is interested I'll rip the full length as well. Physical copies of this 7" are still available through Reptilian Records.
